What temperature does biological washing powder work at?

Distinctive washing powder is effective from 20°C. However, for optimum results, we recommend a wash temperature of 30–40°C. If you prefer to wash at a higher temperature, this is also perfectly fine. As the washing machine heats the water, the enzymes are already working on your laundry. At the same time, a good proportion of the wash cycle can take place while the enzymes remain active. Once the water becomes too hot, the enzymes naturally become inactive. Even so, they will already have had time to contribute significantly to the cleaning process.
