Step away from over-spraying fragrance
You don’t need to spray fragrance from head to toe. With Distinctive, your clothes leave the wash already beautifully scented, giving you long-lasting freshness without the risk of an overpowering fragrance.

That doesn’t mean you need to give up your favourite aftershave or perfume either. Distinctive’s fragrance base notes are designed to complement your personal scent, working in harmony rather than competing with it. After all, less is more - and kinder to your skin too.

Don’t tumble!
We don’t advocate tumble drying! The addition of heat to fabric washed with Distinctive will cause the fragrance molecules to start bouncing and colliding into each other, and will release fragrance to the waste air from the drier. Plus, tumbling really is a huge waste of energy. Hang to dry indoors or out - you’ll find you need to do less ironing too.
There are a number of things in our formula that enables us to scientifically achieve the above. But not everyone wants to know how the biological content (enzymes) clean, where they come from or how we managed to create the sticky bud effect with our fragrance to help it fix to fabric in the wash, so we’ll leave that for future blog post material.
Smelling good from your socks up

A soap powder is universally safer
Did you know that liquids and tabs cause a hospital admission every hour in all regions around the world?
Babies tend to squish and pop liquid tabs, and old age pensioners suffer accidental washing liquid splashes to their arms or face. Liquid or gel detergents can be responsible for very nasty burns to the skin if not rinsed off immediately.
Whereas not even pets will try to lick a powder if you spill traces on the floor.
In powder form, certain minerals we add to our formula also help with the softening process – eliminating the need for a separate fabric softener too.
We are also a powder because it is a dry product, enabling it to be easily transported direct to consumers' homes. We even have a bulk 10 kg large Kraft paper pack.
