How do I use luxury scented laundry products? Luxury Laundry Care

With Distinctive washing powder you simply add a half to a scoop of our washing powder to the dosing drawer or direct to the drum. Add your clothing and set the machine and go. It's that simple. No added softener or stain removers needed. Your fabrics will leave the machine wonderfully clean and scented perfectly.

More detergent is needed if you live in a hard water area. So if you have a large capacity machine and live in a hard water region then start with a full scoop. See the reverse of our packs for our weight and soiling guide.

Is Distinctive washing powder suitable for sensitive skin? Skin Care Detergents

Yes, we have a daughter with severe (but now managed eczema) We discovered she can tolerate fragrance in our detergent perfectly but can not tolerate any preservative content as used in liquids and fabric softeners. The enzymes we add to our formula go in at a very small percentage and are only active throughout the washing phase before becoming denatured at rinsing. We are careful to only use earth safe minerals in our powder formulation.

Will my laundry smell strongly fragrant? Laundry fragrance

No. But there is the right amount of scent for a luxury finish. Strong fake scents are associated with covering up bad odours and hygiene problems. Whereas, Distinctive is formulated for high-efficiency cleaning, eliminating dirt and odours to leave soft luxurious scents behind. Luxury fragrance is always considered just a touch.

Is biological washing powder better? Best Biological washing powder

there is no right or wrong answer to this although two decades of being involved with detergents gives my informed personal view point of YES.

This is because a bio outperforms a non bio in cooler water in all testing conditions. A bio also outperforms using less water overall due to its superior rinsing action.

A bio usually has less than half a percent of active ingredients, which is a microscopically small additive in relation to the amount of stain removing ingredients you would need to add to a non bio. So it gives you a very concentrated formula.
